Week 2 Assignment

In this video, I did a Cameo Shot. It was a bit difficult to find a plain background, but it was one of the easiest shots to do.

Here I did a Head-On shot. This one was a little bit more difficult, as the subject of the video had to move directly at the camera. All in all, it was mostly hard to find the correct positioning, in order to make the head-on action feel real.

This was the Extreme Close-Up shot, which also was not very difficult. Although, as I zoomed in, the video did get more pixelated, and thus it was a bit difficult to get very close to the subject, without having the camera be shaky or have bad quality.

Here I did a Tight Shot, which wasn't as difficult as the Extreme Close-up. The quality didn't get grainy, but it was a little difficult to hold the camera steady.

This was the Point-Of-View shot. It was difficult to hold the camera steady with one hand, while also moving, although the quality wasn't an issue this time.

Here I did the Tilt shot. Compared to the others, it involved a bit more movement, and it was difficult to stand steadily while also moving the camera upwards.

This was the Pan Shot. It was much easier than the others, although moving the camera in a single direction sideways was a bit harder, as the camera moved a bit in the process.

Here I did the Dolly Shot. The hardest thing about this one was keeping the camera from moving when I was walking, thus the video came out pretty shaky.

This was the Low Angle shot. Taking the video was fairly easy, especially as there wasn't much movement when filming. However, getting into the correct position was difficult, especially with a subject who is already low to the ground.

Here I did the High Angle shot. The camera was easy to keep steady, although finding a place to film from above was a bit difficult.

This was the Reaction shot. It wasn't too hard to film, although having the subject react to something, while also keeping that thing out of the shot, was a bit difficult.

Finally, I did the Full shot. This was among the easier ones, as all I had to do was get the subject to stay in the same spot. However, I can imagine that it would be more difficult to do this if the subject were larger.

  1. Janney, I loved all your shots. Your dog was a very good subject.
